92% of Filipinos facing 2023 ‘with hope’ – Pulse Asia

A recent survey conducted by Pulse Asia from November 27 to December 1 showed that 92% of adult Filipinos are looking forward to the year ahead with hope. Eight percent of respondents were uncertain about their outlook, while less than 1% reported that they are not hopeful about the future.

According to the survey, 43% of respondents expect their celebrations to be more prosperous this year, while 42% expect their celebrations to be just as prosperous as last year. Ten percent expect their celebrations to be the same as last year but not as prosperous, and 6% reported that they are worse off financially compared to the previous year.

The survey included 1,200 respondents who were interviewed in person and represented adults aged 18 and above. The results have a margin of error of 2.8% at a 95% confidence level.
