Captured last February 17, 2023 is the blessing and commissioning of 1 unit brand new ambulance (Type 1-Basic Life Support) to the Municipality of Tapaz held at Tapaz Government Center, Tapaz, Capiz. The said event was graced by Regional Director of BFP CSUPT JERRY CANDIDO, DSC, Provincial Fire Marshal SUPT JENNY MAE MASIP and BFP fire Marshals from different Municipalities in the Province of Capiz. Mayor Roberto “Nonong” Palomar, Vice Mayor Romel Somo, Department Heads and Employees attended and witnessed the activity.
The brand new ambulance is a Nissan Urban NV350 with a diesel-fed engine, composed of cab, chassis and accessories designed on international standards. With this, another milestone, the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Local Government Unit of Tapaz is one on a mission in building a healthy and safer nation.
