Kabug-usan nga 1,984 ka mga insidente sang sunog ang nabalhag sa bug-os nga Pilipinas, humalin sang bulan sang Enero.

Ini ang ginpalayag ni Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) spokesperson Fire Superintendent Annalee Atienza sandig sa datos sang talatapan.

Suno kay Atienza, mas manubo sang 21% ang numero kun ikumparar sa 2,520 ka mga fire incidents sang tuig 2021.

Gindugang pa sang opisyal nga kadam-an sang mga sunog ang tuga sang electrical ignition ilabi na sa paggamit sang appliances kag extension wires, subong man ang indi mayo nga maintenance sang mga electrical wiring.

Samtang, gintumod man ni Atienza nga pila ka mga local government units ang nagapabilin nga wala sang mga fire trucks kag aktibo nga fire stations.
