Mambusao veteran thinker takes over

A veteran woodpusher Francisco Lamayo Jr. of Mambusao, Capiz clinched the elusive chess title after he scored a perfect 7.0 points over more than 100 participants in a chess tournament organized by the Capiznon Chess Club, Inc. held at the Robinsons Place in Roxas City, March 5.

Lamayo, a public school teacher in Mambusao town and a many time champion of a local tournament held in the province of Capiz.
