The Philippine National Police (PNP) has inaugurated a national police clearance satellite hub inside a mall in Roxas City, enhancing accessibility for clients in the area.
“The endeavor aims to provide an accessible and reliable system for the issuance of National Police Clearance in Roxas City and the nearby municipalities in the province of Capiz,” the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) said.
The satellite hub, which opened on Wednesday, is located at Level 2, Lingkod Pinoy Center, Robinsons Place Roxas, in the capital town of Capiz. This is the first satellite hub to open in Western Visayas and can accommodate an average of 50 clients daily, according to PRO6 spokesperson Lt. Col. Arnel Solis.
Before the opening of this satellite office, national police clearance services were available at the Roxas City Police Station and municipal police stations in Dumarao, Ivisan, Mambusao, Pontevedra, President Roxas, Sigma, and Tapaz.
PRO6 regional director Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky expressed his gratitude to the mall and the local government of Roxas City for their support. “This partnership between the local government unit, the stakeholders, and the PNP will open more opportunities for all of us to attain the development we yearn for many years.
Police Regional Office 6 is thankful for giving us another milieu to serve the community better. At the same time, giving our police force a channel to be felt in the community even more,” Wanky said in a statement.
