The Provincial Development Council (PDC) Meeting led by Governor Frederick H. Castro last September 20 proved to be productive. During the meeting, the council approved the Annual Investment Program (AIP) for the year 2024-2025 for the province, amounting to 10.4 billion pesos from local funds and external sources. They also allocated funds for programs and projects to be implemented in 2024 and 2025.
A thorough examination and discussion were conducted on the presented budget to ensure that the money allocated will be used properly and will benefit the people of Capiz.

Present in the meeting were Board Member Sony Besa of the Committee on Appropriation, PPDO Coordinator Wilar C. De Los Santos, mayors from each municipality, members of Civil Society Groups, NGOs, and members of the media.
